Tuesday shop rides, I like to call them TCW Tuesday, are lots of fun. Lots of times, we ride the Green Belt trails. I like them because there are a lot more downhill and rocky/technical sections as compared to the south trails. This last Tuesday, we rode through the Travis Country trails, Stumpy J, Pumphouse to the Barton Creek Green Belt and looped back on Sweet16. I still don't know all the trail names and we did make a wrong turn that made the smaller loop on accident, but it was still lots of fun.

It's founding director, known to most only as "Desert Nomad" and "Todd Eric" to a few, knew that the success realized by ATX100K was largely due to the support of Texas Cycle Werks and so became a staunch supporter of the bike shop.
So, I've got about a month left until my first race and I've ridden the trail a few times to get familiar with it. I'm completely new to race training, so I have no idea what I'm doing. It makes sense to be familiar with the potential course ahead of time so I know what I can expect. My times still need lots of improvement if I don't want to be dead last. And that's my goal, anything but last place.
